Hungry Lucy Music
Intoxicating music with enchanting female vocals
Hungry Lucy began in 1998 when War-N Harrison asked vocalist Christa Belle to contribute vocals on a Depeche Mode cover (Blue Dress) for his solo project, Fishtank No.9. The pair worked so well together that the began writing songs and Hungry Lucy was born. Since that time, Hungry Lucy has released 4 CDs, a DVD internationally as well as appearing on dozens of compliation CDs. The duo has toured throughout the US playing both large and small shows with artists such as Front242, Cruxshadows, Assemblage 23, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Bella Morte and many more. Hungry Lucy's sound has been described as a combination of Tori Amos and Depeche Mode with Christa Belle's enchanting vocals floating atop War-N Harrison's detailed musical arrangements. While touching the genres of trip-hop, darkwave, pop, folk, new age, and electronica, Hungry Lucy never quite fits squarely into any single category. While much of the music is instantly accessible, their unique sound and approach to everything they do makes Hungry Lucy a standout act. More at: www.hungrylucy.com
