Alternative Singer-Songwriter

Andrew Lawrence Jackson is an American alternative singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, as well as a poet, writer, and illustrator. Jackson’s songs, while personal and profound, often lean toward surrealist and existential themes. A veteran of the 80’s San Francisco scene, he was a founding member of both the techno-pop Science Patrol and the post-punk/avant-pop band Zru Vogue. A prolific writer, composer, and recording artist, Jackson has independently released nine solo albums, plus seven albums of his songs with Zru Vogue, and one EP with Science Patrol. Along with Rick Cuevas, the other half of the duo Zru Vogue, he has contributed songs to several independent film soundtracks. Jackson continues to perform and record both as a solo artist and with Zru Vogue. All songs written, recorded, and produced by Andrew Lawrence Jackson, with engineering and production assistance from Rick Cuevas. Album artwork is also by Andrew L. Jackson.
