Jonathan Dugan, Ph.D., is founder and CEO of Matson Systems, a software startup building web-based collaboration tools. Jonathan has worked as a consultant providing business strategy and technical implementation on the topic of building and maintaining community. Jonathan completed his Ph.D. at Stanford University in 2002 in Biomedical Informatics.

Rama McIntosh is a software developer leading the software development for LegalTorrents. He started his programming career in 1989 and hasn't looked back. Along the way he has also picked up skills as a master Unix System Administrator and a master Database Administrator. Rama's professional experience includes stints as an Entrepreneur, a Director of Engineering, and a Chief Software Architect; however, you'll usually find him writing code.

Beth Philipson, MBA, VMD, is a freelance writer. She worked in marketing for a medical device start-up after practicing veterinary medicine for several years, and then transitioned to freelance marketing writing. She is currently working on her first novel.

Simon Carless is a publisher, editor, and writer based in the Bay Area. He works as Publisher at the CMP Game Group, overseeing both Game Developer magazine and Gamasutra.com, the top information sources for video game professionals, and is Chairman of the Independent Games Festival. He has previously worked as a writer/editor for tech site Slashdot, and as a game designer for companies such as Eidos Interactive and Atari, and originally started LegalTorrents in 2003 as a personal project.
