How to get involved in LegalTorrents
Overview
LegalTorrents is a participatory community. You decide your level of involvement. This page lists different ways to get involved. As the needs of the community change, different opportunities will be listed here.
- Sign up by creating a user account here and log in when you return to the site. Sign up with an email address or with OpenID.
Sign up online
- Enter your user profile: Add a short bio, your location, upload a picture, and any other details. As we build out the site, members will be able to contact each other and find other people that like similar content.
Update your profile data
- Please send us your thoughts on the site. During the beta period, LegalTorrents will be undergoing rapid changes and your feedback is extremely helpful!
Provide feedback on the Beta Site
- We encourage you to invite other interested people to join the community. You can send invitations to your friends or interested colleagues.
Invite other interested people
- After you download content, please seed it for others to download. At this time our tracker is open and not tracking member contributions or ratios, but we may add this in the future. If you can host large amounts of content and maintain a dedicated networked machine, we will list you on our Community Partners Page as a Seeding Partner.
Seed content
- Do you know people who are creating high quality digital media and want to share it on line using filesharing? Please tell them to contact us. We are looking for quality content. You can also post a button:
Spread the Word
to link to us.
- Community members are encouraged to contribute directly to Content Creators they want to support. We publish the contribution levels to give you public credit for your contributions.
Support Content Creators
- During te Beta period we are offering membership for a one-time contribution of $50. Help make community supported media a viable alternative for digital content creators.
